The National Institute for Early Education Research at Rutgers University examined the benefits received by children who participated in New Mexico’s Pre-K program.  The Rutgers study showed consistent benefits for children who participated in New Mexico’s program, compared to those who did not.  Thanks to EPLC for providing this information.  To read the complete report, click here.

Just for Men

 

Study focuses on media images of young black males: MEE productions is recruiting black men, 19-30 years old for conducting a series of focus groups. All groups will be held at 340 N. 12th St., Suite #200 on Tuesday, December 14th  6:00 pm  to 8:00 pm (ages 25-30) and Thursday, December 16th (ages 19-22).  All participants will receive $50.00 as compensation.
