Facebook

For those of you who have facebook this should be very helpful. If you just click here you can become our "friend" and we will be sending out all type of interesting information to you through our facebook. On our facebook there will be different events that you can find out about and come to as well as groups that you can join. These groups include Events, Opportunities, and Info relating to Special Ed in Philadelphia, and Opportunities, and Info For Free Educational Activities in Philladelphia and many more. If you join one of these groups then you will recieve specialized information pretaining to the specific subject area that you have shown interest in. Facebook is a great way to share information and it is a more interactive way fro us to fuind out what you guys really want to know about. If you would like to make a facebook follow the instructions below, or watch the video posted under the facebook box.

Getting Started With Facebook

 

  1. Go to www.facebook.com
  2. Fill in the boxes under where it says “Sign Up”  with the appropriate information then click sign up
  3. Type in the words in the box and click next
  4. It will then ask you for your password to your e-mail, this is so that twitter can go into your e-mail contacts and find out if any of them have twitter so you can follow them. If you would not like to do this then you can click the link that says “skip this step” located under the box labeled “continue”.
  5. It will then prompt you to upload a picture, if you would like to then click browse and find a photo in your pictures, once you have found your photo click save and continue. If you would not like to upload a picture then click skip.
  6. Now you can begin to search for your friends in the box in the upper-right hand corner, update your status in the box at the top of the page that says “what are you doing?”, and write on people walls by going on their page and writing in the box that says “write something”.
